I'm wondering in getting TTR's Rear 1" swaybar. The question I have now is that I see other kits that they sell that offer the front sway bar as well. I' wondering if the kits with both are worth it or if I should just go with a rear only. I autocross a lot and just wanting to get better handling overall. Can I maybe get the TTR Rear sway bar and the kit? That way I can place the Front one? Help

The only aftermarket front sway bar on the market is the Suspension Tech one, which is what you linked to from the TTR website. This bar is 7/8"(22mm) diameter, or the same size as the Sport/SS2.4 front sway bar. And the rear bar is 3/4" which makes it the smallest of the aftermarket rear bars(Progess offers a 7/8" rear bar and TTRs rear bar is 1")

This kit isnt really "expensive" but you could get the FE5(SS/SC) 24mm(.945") front sway bar/bushings and your choice of either the Progress or TTR rear bars for the same price. I think the FE5 front bar and either the TTR or Progress rear bar is the way to go. I dont think the SuspTech kit is enough bar to be competitive in AutoX.(obviously depends on the rest of your setup, but for most people this is the case)

Wait, you have a 2008 SS? as in Turbocharged? Youve already got the stiffest front bar available, all you need is a rear bar of your choice.

 

^^^^ Oh ****, yes I have the 08 Turbalt. Sweet so all I need is the rear, badass!! What about the srut bar under the hood, can I get that?

 

Yeah, TCs already have a 24mm front bar, there isnt a larger bar available.(Ive got a TC frt bar)

Yep just pick a rear bar to dial out some of the understeer these cars have.

Yeah, you can "probably" get any of the strut tower bars on the market. Not sure how they clear the charge air piping but someones probably done it by now.
