stuck drum brake

Hi everyone, i'm trying to replace the shoes on my rear drum breaks and i can not get the drum off for the life of me, i've loosened the e break and nothing, is there some other trick that i'm missing or how did you get your drum off?

Try tapping on the actual bolts that the lugs go on with a hammer. Not to hard. just try to knock the rust loose. Also try gently prying it off. I had to pry mine off just a little to get them to go. Once it's loose, it will slide right off

Get a large soft faced/ dead blow hammer and just wail on the the drum. Hit it on the face(where the wheel mounts) as far out towards the edge as you can. A couple good whallops and she'll come right off.

If the drum seems loose but feels like it is hanging up on something you may have to back off the adjusters. If the drum is quite worn there may be a bit of a lip at the inner edge. As the rear brakes adjust, the shoes end up being "inside" this lip and keep the drum from sliding off.

Didn't see too many like this but saw enough back in my brake shop days.
