Tabs on front struts

So if they are not lined up will that cause issues immediately or over time? Does anyone have a pic of what it should look like or is it self explanatory? I believe I put mine together wrong. 6,000 miles and nothing has fallen off yet...

are you talking about where the swaybar end-links bolt onto the struts? maybe pictures of what you're describing would help, and how you have them.

On the hat I believe it's called there are little tabs sticking out. I remember seeing a thread a while ago about this but can't find it now. Basically I think I put the struts back together not lined up. It's kind of a PITA to remove the struts and everything, but I also don't want to cause any damage and will take the time if I need to. I'm also thinking about changing springs though. My rear springs bottom out over bumps with people in the back. I don't really care about the harsh ride, but worried if it is causing damage to the frame/unibody or anything else. Please tell me it doesn't so I can stop worrying about it lol

edit: my bump stops are cut, it's the actual springs that fully compress.
