why would you take a picture with the car jacked up? it defeats the purpose of what he was trying to prove.

I wasn't planning on ever taking a picture, but his new exhaust came in so we decided to wrestle it on this evening. We got the car up before we thought about taking the picture, so we said **** it, and took a picture. I looked at the spring on the ground, there is no "bind", but I know you won't just take my word for it. I probably wont see his car again until next week, so no more pictures will be uploaded until then.

aaand you prove my point. You put any kind of load on those springs and 70% of those coils will touch in less than 2" of suspension travel = choppy ride = shitty handling.

Trust me broski, that is weight on those springs. That trunk isn't empty, it's actually pretty damn full.

I know what you mean, previous owner of my car left Tenzo R springs on it, and I put some weight in that car, and found out real quick what happens.

simple answer is, they coil bind. whether or not you realize it, they do. I'm sure the drop is nice, but i doubt the handling is there.

I'm going to bed. 6am alarm clock is coming ******* fast. FML

****, one more question.

Compare the spring rates of the springs....see the differences, I'm curious. I found the Tein's easy enough, why's Pedders rates not advertised?

well, what are the tein rates?

And the Pedders are progressive, as i'm sure the Teins are. It isn't so cut and dry as a single rate.

Static spring height, dead coils etc. all play into the equation.

2 seconds of searching

Spring Rate Front: 3.1 kg/mm = 174 lb/in
Spring Rate Rear: 2.8 kg/mm = 157 lb/in
