Oh dear god you guys are retarded. They are not binding.

I had Tenzo R springs for almost a year. I know what soft springs are, and what they ride like. His Tein's ride great, nowhere near to what the Tenzo's were on my car.

I'm sure they ride very comfortable...

1-3k springs are to soft IMO

Check your eyes, you have 3 or more coils touching one another. The car is just standing still... now imagine when you load it into a turn...

thats coil bind man

The frickin spring looks like a metal slinky! QUIT LYING TO YOURSELF

this post makes zero sense. that rate means it takes ~170lbs to compress the spring 1 inch. That's WAAAY too soft.

Bet it rides like a 75 Cadillac Eldorado.

well, if anyone has a go-pro already, i don't mind doing it.

then he can do the same, and i'll chuckle as his springs coil bind and bounce off each other almost constantly.

It actually looks good. The front is the same as sportlines, and the rear is maybe 1/4 to 1/2 and inch difference.

First of all Karlen89, why the hell would you post a pic of the suspension unloaded when we're talking about coil bind...

These pictures of the loaded suspension are great comparisons. Even taking into account that there's some audio equipment in the Tein sprung car, the Teins are not right, at all.

What's even funnier is that Tein even KNOWS they are going to coil bind. Look, they put that stupid extra layer of plastic/rubber over a few of the coils because you'll hear a loud ass noise if they didn't, because they bind! More proof that Tein springs are useless, like I mentioned earlier on in the thread.

For the people that own these springs, you shouldn't be defensive about them. You should be angry that Tein even bothered to make a spring like this. Sadly, most aftermarket springs are junk, similar to these, and that's why people here are telling you Pedders for the Cobalt, or bust.
