For those with PowerGrid endlinks
I've never been too happy about the length of my PowerGrids. I called Chip up today, and found out that there are 2 different lengths of endlinks that he offers. I'll have to measure mine to find out what they are, but I'm unable to get the arms of the swaybar perpendicular to the strut when the car's loaded.
Anyways, I'll find out if I have the SS or non-SS version of the PowerGrid endlinks. I suggest you do the same. He said the SS ones should be around 9" from center to center on the balljoints. I'm going to get some new threaded rods from him, but I'll have to find out which ones I have first.

Well, technically, you're supposed to do all of this while the suspension is loaded. I like to drive up onto some wooden ramps I made. Leave one side disconnected. Check the other side and set the endlink to whatever length allows the swaybar arm to be orthogonal to the strut. Then set the other side so that matches up to the swaybar without any pre-load.
What I ended up doing is setting my powergrids as short as they would go, which was approximately the stock length. Bummer. Since the car is lowered on Pedders, the endlinks should be shorter too.

yes I run mine at minimum length. I just talk directly to Chip Minich, we have been working forever since 2004 when he was an important cog in the GMPD Cobalt racing program; powergridinc.com
