Low and Cobalts don't mix too well - too easily. Takes a lot of work/know-how.

Looks good I suggest u put the hubcaps back on but other than that looks good. I wish there were budget coils for these cars I paid 250 for my coils for my jetta and about 300 for my integra...

Seems that the cheapest for a cobalt is 800.. :-(

That is kinda offensive.

To the OP, lowering the car is fairly easy. Slamming the car is alot more difficult.

Anything is possible with the right amount of time and money.

If you want it done right, you're gonna have to do things to your drivetrain to make it all line up as to not wear things out and break things prematurely (cv's etc).

Honestly, if you drive that everyday I wouldn't try and go that low. Hitting a pot hole or trying to enter certain driveways could cause some serious damage. But I'm also not a big fan of "slammed". Lowerd, yes, but not slammed.

But it's ultimately your decision.

Wow, you sound like a TOTAL idiot. It might be offensive, but some times the truth hurts bud.

You want it slammed? Buy another car. The Cobalt will never be as cheap or easy as a Honda to slam. And, the coil overs you bought for $250 weren't really coil overs, fyi. They were only sleeves.

Some Cobalt slamming basics? Raise your shock towers like the Tijn Coupe. Then figure out how to raise the engine/trans to eliminate axle shimmy. Then, notch the rear and change the shock mounts so you have travel still. So, still want it that low?

Actually I have been in the car game for a while I was born at night but not last night... coilovers and coilovers sleeves are two different things go to racelands.com if u don't believe me the coils have gone up due to supply and demand but they are still less than 400...

Well looks like I will keep this as my daily and get another Honda...

That's because Racelands are cheap crap.

Might as well just cut your stock springs.
