Haha I have been trying to remove the two lower front strut-to-lower knuckle bolts for the past 45 minutes. I got tired of looking like a redneck in my parking lot and put everything back together. What the hell am I supposed to do with these things?

Thanks guys I'll have to try it next week. I'm out of time this week haha. My car will have to make do with only the rear springs changed until then.

yeah like they said you have to hammer them. this is what i do and it works every time:

1. take the nut off
2. turn the nut around so the the flat portion of the nut is on the outside
3. thread the nut on until the tip of the bolt is almost flat with the flat portion
4. give it some good hits with your hammer. i just use a regular hammer and it takes maybe 4-5 good hits.
5. hammer till the nut is against the shock
6.remove the nut and pull the bolt out.
7. do the same for the other one.

this always works for me. hope it helps

you could always try to take some weight off the knuckle and then hammer the bolts out if they're that tight
