And i cannot get this damn bolt backed out for anything. The bottom one won't move a bit either. Starting to make getting this strut out harder than it needs to be.
. . what did everyone use to get these little bastards out????

i find that it helps to put the nut back on so that it's flush with the end of the threads, gives you a better striking surface, and less likely to marr the threads all up. plus, it won't go flying.
Just don't hit it so hard that you damage the threads. If you have to, put the nut back on before beating on it, but the end is pointed so you can wack it pretty hard without a problem. Grease them up when you re-install and line them up so they go in smooth.
