That is not good. I'm at 32 thousand miles and they are perfectly even across. Go have your alignment checked before you ruin the things.
Thats what i said when i say it.

I know i was bad with these. I know they are to good. The bad thing is, i work at tire place. Plus i have a lift at my inlaws that i can use all the time.

not sure on the toe setting for the rear, but if it were a toe issue, wouldn't it be a feathered wear mark instead of just one side of the tire wearing?

Depends upon the degree of toe, wouldn't it?

I've been thinking more about this. It would strike me as odd if it were both sides, as it would take some sort of damage to the car to get toe out, wouldn't it? The to have that on both sides? What are the chances?

It also seems to me that if both sides were toed out the car would feel awfully assy.

I liked the question about weight in the back. I thought the same at first, as if something with adding crazy camber in the back, but that's really hard to do on these cars from my understanding. That's why my next thought was a small amount of toe out, that it was dragging the inner part of the tire just slightly.

toe has nothing to do the way the car steers. It only affects tire wear. I'm sure of it now that I think back to my training. Feathering wear is the only sign of toe wear.

OP, honestly, you're shocks should still be under warranty, as they are rated til about 60k miles. So go to the dealer and have them look at it. Stop guessing at this point and do it.
