vibration after lowering

i had the same thing in my car on the passenger side after i lowered it on ksports. one day i was turning left and pulled the axle bearings straight out of the housing where the boot is. i dont know if this was from lowering it or not but once i put a new axle in the vibration is a hell of alot better and the car feels alot smoother in acceleration also

Rotated mounts help a lot. I got rotated mounts and coilovers lowered all the way down and I just get the tinyest vibration at like 15mph, no one else in the car can feel it just me through the steering wheel, so Im not really worried about it.
I have the zzp rotated mounts for owered cars and if I go all the way down on my Stance coils I get it a little. I am pretty low right now with about 1/2" to 3/4" drop left to go and I really don't feel anything. I would say the mounts helped it a lot but not totally at full low.

It looks like the VW crowd is having a lot of success with motor mount spacers to lift everything back up and fix the angle. No clue if anyone makes them for the Cobalt, or if the mounts even have room for spacers, but it could be worth looking in to.

Thats what the rotated trans mount is. Its a spacer in the rear, or a whole new mount that a bit longer, and a different front mount. After they are aligned its good to go. They dont even make coilovers that get us low enough to have problems after the rotated mounts.

With my Stance I can go low enough for vibrations even wih the ZZP mounts. Granted they helped it, it isn't totally gone so I just stay where I am and it eliminated all the wheel gap.
Just starting to have this problem with my car after I installed BC coilovers. Anyone have more info on it for autos? Or if we could make some shims to bring the motor and tranny up?

Probably depends how low you go. Should get rack spacers too, if you went way low.
edit - I'm only on Pedders. I bought both from Powell, and got rack spacers too. Smooooth as buttah.
They're so easy to put in, too.

Maybe. I don't know your car. Could be bent wheel, bad tire, bad alignment, warped rotor, bad cv joint. Could be a lot of things. Without seeing your car or knowing it's history I'm not going to make a "this will fix it" pronouncement. That would be silly.

What I can tell you is that my TC vibrated considerably in tight turns when I lowered it until I put them on, and and once I did the vibration went away.

Had axle bind for a while. Just got used to it. I havent even thought about it in a month or so since this thread, maybe going from fe1-fe5 setup helped a bit, also flooring it from a stop works, you wont feel it then haha.

just want to update that powell racing stage one mount completly elimitaded my low speed wobble in first gear but in second i feel it a bit still so i think changing the rear mount will solve this, my front mount was completly shot
Powell doesnt make mounts for autos right? Or are you talking about for a manual transmission?
