Vibration after lowering car with Eibachs?

Has anyone notice a small vibration under acceleration after lowering there car?
I was thinking it was the angle of the drive shafts causing it but i dont know. It seems that i notice it more when going around a curve accelerating.

JEEESUS! how the hell did you manage to hit 153dB with two 10s?!

I can barely squeeze out 141dB with Four 12's

NICE TBSS, I ******* LOVE those!

Thanks wdsoccer for your comment, I hadnt really ever noticed that but now you have pointed that out it is cool.

HackAbuse i did it with a lots of work and some trial & error. Its all in the box, size, tunning and lots of power.
Thanks, i love the tbss too i just dont have the guts to give up my warranty making it any faster and the funds. I have a newborn but i wouldnt trade her for anything in the world.

Yes I am getting the same vibration and i do think it has to do with the angle of the cv shafts

I've noticed that the stearing wheel shakes a little bit when taking off at times. It only does it for a second though. Is this what your talking about?

wallas06SS No i don't think it is. It seems to be felt more in the floor or through the gas pedal.
I do believe like 06_SS_S/C said its the angle of the cv joints

I'ts late and I realy don't feel like explaining the whole suspention geometry, I will try to answer your question though...You are partly correct the new angle of the CV joints now, because of the drop is a little straighter. (more horizontal than before) Now here this though.... In most Japanese fwd cars this does not pose as a problem, when they are droped because most of the imports have both circular and solid type engine/tranny mounts and they carry many times a fifth mount under the middle of the tranny, and an additional support for the long shaft (kinda like a pillarblock bearing but not quite)...what does mean? well go pull your hood, with your engine cool remove that plastic sound proof crap out of the way(you will have to remove the oil cap first) stand in front of the car now try shaking the engine back and fourth....PRETTY DAMN SOLID RIGHT?.....now go to either the left/right side of the car lean over and shake the engine in the same manner back and fourth this time you are shaking the engine laterally....hmm, LET ME GUESS SOFT AS A 90 YEAR OLD MANS DICK, the engine rocks back and foufth with ease....bad very bad....take a closer look, you have 4 mounts and they are all facing the same direction the design of the mounts allow movement side ways, why ? because they are all circular in design and soft as ever (to elliminate engine vibration) So compared to most FWD compacts you are (1) missing a fifth mount (2) all the mounts are circular instead of having two out of the four solid and the other two circular(3) and the poor long (CV) half shaft(right side) has no support .... My friend you are suffering from "constant Velosity(cv) joint feed back"...... is this condition bad news? , YES kinda, but not detrimental?....will this feed back mess up my mounts and cv joints?... after some time, YES.....I'm I screwed?...... NOT QUITE THERE IS 'maybe' A WAY OUT....join me again tommorrow for the exciting "possible" solution to this problem, no I'm just kidding. After dropping my 2.2 pursuit I noticed the identical problem and the vibration/shudder got worse when i would take a corner, unfortunitly I got pissed off and put the car back to ordinary height and did the whole camber/allignment thing all over again....guess what all the viberation/shudder was gone . Because of this and many other problems I sold the car before fixing my own problem with the lowering issue.....ok don't panic yet I strongly suggest that you install the teflon after market performance mounts on the car and replace it with the soft factory crap it will stiffen the whole engine & tranny,(this is what I was planning to do with my own car) and I belive that the "cv joint feed back" will improve if not go away all together, there is also some kind of motor stabliser thing availble check the supporting vendors for more info.
I hope all this "bullshit" writing & information will help you,
Drag Sargeant.

I am lowered on the ssc springs and I only get a buzzing feel in the gas pedal. I only get it on the highway in fifth gear and about a 1/4 to 1/2 throttle.

It seems to be getting worse for me....so much that I am tempted to just pull the springs out. It is really bad through low RPMs in 1st and 2nd gear. The front of the car feels like it is shaking left and right really bad, so I think Drag is right on the money with what is causing it. I don't want to put in solid mounts, so I might just get rid of them completely, maybe just go to a pro-kit and get the ass end down a little bit. I wouldn't think that would cause any problems, would it? Since the front stays at the same height?

Hmmm, I wish I would have known about this before I bought, should have looked harder I guess. Oh well I guess I will probably take them off this weekend and throw the stockers back on.

I installed my H&R Sport springs yesterday and I too have fallen victim to the dreaded
Wuggada-Wuggada syndrome.Sort of feels like a flat tire.I think H%R is here in the Northwest and I'm going to try to contact them and see what they asay about the wobble-vibration-wuggada situation. If anyone has an absolute cure short of putting the stock springs back on let me know.

Just out of curiosity, how many of you with this problem have a torque damper? The reason I ask is I pulled off my Ingalls this weekend just to see if it would make any difference and it does seem to help a bit. The vibrations are still there, but not nearly as bad as they were before. Just wondering if anyone else has one on their ride and could try pulling it off to see if they get the same result.

No Ingalls for me, so I can't help you there. You would think considering how many spring sets have been sold, that SOMEBODY would know SOMETHING! I mean, besides the suspension geometry post earlier in the thread.

I also have the H&r springs, the vibration got so bad i had to take them off last night. I had them on the car for about 19,000 miles. Looks like coilovers might be the better solution. We would get the desired spring stiffness for better handling but not the lower stance that everybody likes.

What I find so weird is how some people have no vibrations at all and some were so bad that people have had to take the springs out. What gives?

I only feel vibrations occasionally. It's usually when I'm turning to get onto or getting off the off ramp to get on the highway. Most of the time it doesn't do it though.
