Vibration after lowering car with Eibachs?
I also have the H&r springs, the vibration got so bad i had to take them off last night. I had them on the car for about 19,000 miles. Looks like coilovers might be the better solution. We would get the desired spring stiffness for better handling but not the lower stance that everybody likes.
rubber and see what I get.It may not help at all but we'll see.
Are you guys sure its not your Ingalls? If adjusted tightly, this will cause vibrations (sometimes harsh) to come through in the lower RPMs... and then to fade as you get to higher speeds/rpms. I have noticed this, because I got sportlines first, then Ingalls...and AFTER tightening my Ingalls, (I have mine as tight as manual says you can [safely] go) I started getting lots of vibs...
Could have it all wrong though, just my 2cents!

more of a...............feels like a wheel is bent?
Yeah I dont have the ingalls either. I have just gotten used to it because its not that bad just a little buzz feel. I am filling the motor mounts this weekend so I figure I am going to get more vibrations.
after hearing about everyones problems with lowering their car, I now have second thoughts. I want to get the sportlines, but is there a big chance of this kind of problem happening with most cobalts?
*****Update*****
The dealership was totally cool with the lowering springs. It was my passenger side axle going bad. Got the car back yesterday and now it rides a lot better. No shaking at all, the service writer is going to replace the driver side axle as a precaution. My thumbs up to Chevy for the great service.

its all in the CV joints and the steady bearing on the passenger side. the older your CVs are when you lower the car you will feel vibration, the axles sits at a different angle so that is why some people dont (probably lower milage cars) i had a completely gone steady bearing and they replaced the shaft but forgot to put the retainer back on my steady bearing.
so im waiting on wednesday to get that fixed i will let you know if that fixed it.
the thing that made me believe its the angle of the cv joints is because we where 5 people in the car and the vibration was alot worst.
