Vibration when braking...

Ever since i put my Tenzo's on back in June I have noticed a bad vibration in my steering wheel when braking. I have had my brakes checked and they are fine. Is this caused by the engine shaking or what? Would motor mounts help or something?

Your rotors are warped. I had that happen several times to me, so I changed the rotors this week.

Thats fucked...I had the brakes checked and they told me it was fine and didn't notice the vibration. I notice it. It's mostly when comming off of a highway and braking kinda hard.

Search for Uneek's rotors on this site. He sells them for a pretty decent price. I was lucky and was able to get a pair of rotors from a member who had them on his car for just a week before deciding to go with a big brake kit. I got them (cross drilled/slotted) for $75. The install is really, really simple. All you do is take off two bolts that connect the caliper to the knuckle, pull the caliper off the rotor, pull the old rotor off, slide the new one on, slide the caliper back on, and bolt it down.

Hey Pat, its your rotors bud. I had the same problem. I just turned them down. All kinds of material left on them. I got another year on my rotors after I turned them.

Its called they're stock rotors/pads...and they're not meant for heaving braking...hence why they vibrate. Just get better rotors/pads and you'll be fine.
