vibrations

I have an 06 g5 stock springs and struts with 17" tires and rims. Few weeks ago when i took my winters off and put my 17s back on i noticed very bad treadware and vibrations around 80+ km. So i took my car in and they said nothing was wrong with the suspension so i got an alignment. My tires were off by less then a degree but they also commeneted on the tread ware and said the vibrations might be comming from an off balance tire or because there was no tread left on the outside of the tires. SO. today i got new tires and got them all rebalanced and i still have f-ing vibrations. Does anyone else have any suggestions before i go back to the "pros".

Thanks in advance.

Im not sure. I want to say the front. The steering wheel also sakes alot at higher speeds, which would suggest something wrong with front tires or suspension. But i had it all looked over already.

Bent rim/wheel maybe? Try rotating the tires and see if the vibration moves. If so, Id say bent wheel or they just cant balance a wheel correctly. They can still balance a bent wheel and you'll feel it though. Also a very badly warped rotor can cause it as well as a badly worn out strut mount.
