Wet Braking

So i've noticed this on days it rains but thats its..

When its wet out it seems like my brakes lack oomph like i have to press the peddle harder to get any real slowing ability down...

Does anyone else have this happen? what would the cause and solution be?

All the SS/TC do that and it's annoying. There's an extra second or so for the water to be wiped away before the brakes work. They do work though, and work reasonably well once the water is wiped away.

Yep, mine act the same way. I think it's also a function of the pads and rotor being cooler. Typically, the more aggressive the pad, the less effective they are when cold.

they dont drag on the rotor like a sliding caliper so its not scraping the water off. i would assume that has something to do with it.

That would make sense. I thought it may have something to do with that but I wasn't sure.
