what kind of brake pads?

i need to get new front brake pads for my SS/TC it only has 20k on it and think it has the factory pads still and they leave brake dust on the rims really bad i would like to upgrade to a pad that have dust rating. i was looking at the EBC and hawk pads but iv never had either brand. just looking to find out what everybody else is running and what kind of dust problems you guys are having.. thanks guys oh and i will be staying with oem rotors for now

Hawk ceramics are fine for daily driving but you'll lose a little bit of performance.

You make it sound like you're gonna fly off the road with Hawk ceramics. If you can't brake fast enough to stay on a public road or keep from hitting something, it won't be the pad's fault.

the hawk ceramics that wangspeed suggested are your best bet but if you're really worried about brake dust you're not driving the right car... the stock pads are pretty wonderful if you ask me.. unless its wet outside and then they are scary when you get off of the highway lol

your asking for something impractical.
calm down son.

any performance pad is going to come with more dust. deal with it.
the stock pads on these cars are not that dirty to begin with, so if you can not even handle that then a performance pad is not your best choice.

pick up some hawk ceramics or powerstop ceramics and be done with it. though your results are going to be the same as OEM.

I have run Hawk HPS on my cars in the past. Good stopping power, fair for fade, and moderate on dust. I just bought EBC reds for my SS to change it up; I will see how I like them probably next weekend.
