Whats the most Comfortable Ride Setup?

I drive SS/SC, and would like to know what I can do to get the most comfortable ride regardless of performance.

Stock SS/SC setup? Stock SS/TC setup? Stock TC FE5 + YYZ? etc.

Thanks

The stock ls cobalt suspension. Hands down. Esp with the 16" wheels probably makes a big difference

Some truck tires with a really really really tall sidewall. Better than any spring out

aren't the YYZ stiffer than stock? I know it's progressive, but im looking for something that while pretty much absorb all the bumps in the road.

I don't care about sway/performance anymore, just want the smoothest ride possible.

Lies!!! all lowering springs will never ride like stock. I dont know how nice ontario roads are, but here in vancouver it aint nice at all due to new housing developments.
PATCHES OF ROADS! EVERYWHERE!

Im on Pedders+stock SS/SC struts/shocks. It feels very bumpy.
I may have been spoiled by a Lexus GS350, but im looking for a VERY comfy ride if possible.
Thanks!

Nope. No lies here... Ontario roads are garbage, My springs don't bounce uncontrolably, and they arent stiff either.

bs with respect; the ssc rates are way less than cobalt stock. Yes I measured them. I have the tools here in the shop.

Pedders have less rate than stock but the material is poor and they run out of spring travel. so its rough.
one fix, 3 letters
YYZ

NO.Progressive. U know this? so its simple. less than stock rates at ride height, ramps up to way more than stock at full compression. So. Rides great. Dont rely on me: 100% of the folks who have YYZ and post here say the same thing about the awesome ride.
Is it possible all these folks are...how can I say this?.... right?

U made the statement.
but whatever. In other news, if you insist on going to coils, HSD can be had for Cobalt with a new shock valving, in a monotube , for reasonable money. I worked with JRPonline who distribute the HSD line in North America (USA ships out of Baltimore) to come up with a better coil over damping rate.
HSD are made in Korea, do private label branding ( Stance is an example) and if you insist on slamming the car, they will work and ride decently. They wont ride as nice as YYZ, but clearly you dont care about ride if you want coils, you just want moah loww.

Quoted from powell in the YYZ thread.

"But let me throw in some information here. Nominal rates. As the manufacturing shot peening normalizes, YYZ may settle 1/8th to 1/4 inch, NO loss of rate.

StockTC FE5 springs: front. Linear. 158 lbs
Pedders: front. Linear. 139 lbs.
YYZ: front. Progressive. 138 lbs at the first 5.5 inches of travel to 265 at full compression
(1st load 762 lbs @6.4 inches/2nd load 993 lbs @5.5. inches.)

Rear YYZ are variable rate. Pedders are not."
