Wheel Spacers Anyone..??
Hey guys,
So, I'm contemplating getting some wheel spacers for my Cobalt.. Either get them for the front, or all around for stance.. Originally, I was figuring on going with only 3/16 spacers as to keep them narrow enough so that they don't effect my wheel studs, however I installed a set of 5/16 spacers on my Olds and have had no problems with them at all.. Plus, you can buy 5/16 ones locally, easily and cheaply.. Would you guys say to run 3 or 5 spacers..? I'd assume some will say to not run any, however I'd like to experiment with the flush wheel look.. I mean, if I don't end up liking them, I can pull them off easily.. I'd imagine they'd be ok with steering and such though, but if not, I can just pull them.. I'm lowered on Sportlines with stock FE3's for now, but I'm gonna get some FE5's or Koni Yellows soon..
Any opinions? Thanks!

I bought custom 20mm adapters from them to mount my 285/30 x 18 Hoosier slicks. Very responsive, very nice, well machined.

I've been running 5/16" spacers with extended studs for a few months.... no issues at all, except that they aren't hubcentric, so you have to take your time when installing the wheel.
Note, though, that according to a few racer guys, it's recommended that you don't go larger than a 10mm spacers, as it puts additional load on the hub.
