Wobble/vibration

Okay so I'm getting a small vibration while driving at various speeds, high, low, etc.. It's annoying an makes the steering wheel shake side to side... But when press the brakes, especially hard from going fast there's a terrible vibration from the driver side wheel. Shakes throughout the whole care.. Feel it in the pedals, steering wheel vibrates uncontrillably, gonna try to look at it tomorrow if I have time. Any ideas?

Rotors won't make vibration unless your on the brakes, bent wheel maybe.

This is the time of year to make sure you dont have a build up of snow and ice in the wheel itself that can cause vibration. Not saying thats your problem, but a qwik visit to the wand car wash can eliminate that. Dont powerwash the stick on weights off the wheel lol.

When u press the brakes you hear a rattle in the steering also? What about if ur stopped and u wiggle the steering wheel side to side? Do you hear the same rattle? Kinda under by your feet but in the engine bay?

I had to replace my intermediate shaft in the steering column. That will fix the rattle going from side to side and when driving over bumps. But have your rotors and wheel checked for problems. Hopefully just need a new rotor

Thr intermediate shaft is the knuckle that slides onto the shaft from the steering rack?

No it was real easy. Jack driver side of car up undo the bottom pin off of rack and then go in the car and undo the pin on top part that connects to the steering column. It's easy to but it's a pita getting underneath the steering wheel. When u install make sure u have someone hold the steering wheel to make sure u line up the splines correctly. Took about 15 minutes for a friend and i to install

As in pin you mean bolt? Cause slides onto the nipple on the rack and has a bolt that squeezes it onto the rack correct?
