1:1 Throttle

I almost have it nailed

Ive been working a lot lately with custom Histograms and filtering and found some ways to tune the ETC Pedal vs ETC Plate and get it very close to 1:1.

When you get over 50-60% throttle, it will still outpace it a bit since we have the loads raising quickly for WOT but Im working on a balance of mid throttle loads and powerful WOT still. Shouldn't be long

Ill post a log later and some screenshots, this last update should have it where I want it!

Edit: This is not a hardset code or a TF trick, this is all done with tuning in HPT. Just thought I should add that.

I compared your latest to the previous and the mid load low rpm increases should help my LWFW situation. Too light a pedal = bog city on mine starting out.

Still futzing with my own issue today. lol

Im going to post up some stuff tomorrow morning. We ended up doing the clutch/trans in my car so Ive been driving it easy a couple days.

BUT

On my way home Friday I tried the new file and its just what we're looking for!! The car is very predictable now and at no point is that a hard spike of boost part throttle.

Another BUT

You can't make the car do 1:1 throttle. Not without removing the load based thinking inside the ecu, which would need a whole rewrite. This does not mean that its a fail tho. Lemme explain.

Eventho the plate is outpacing the pedal still under mid loads, I can now adjust it in a way that it holds a flat psi at that same pedal amount thru the whole RPM range! You can also fine tune it for different pedal amounts (say exiting different corners on a track) to hold different psi amounts and squeak the most power while maintaining traction still.

Ill post some screenshots, the logs and maybe even a vid of the boost gauge to see what Im saying.

No lol. This is a LNF thing.

What this means is totally predictable and controllable throttle control on your LNF car

Its not uncommon for it to take a full second to open from 80% to 100%, even when the pedal is on the floor

Well i think this is more to tame down the ridiculous part throttle reactions this car has.. lol.. that was just my example to show that pedal does not equal throttle %
