Hi I have a 2008 cobalt ss turbo and im looking to buy hptuners and get a remote tune. The possible problem I may run into is the fact that the car previously had a trifecta tune on it but I am unsure of what happened to the tune (and I verified it with trifecta themselves but they were unable to give much info) . Currently the car shows no signs of having the tune installed. ( I have tried everyone of their activation methods multiple times ). My question is at what point will I know that the PCM is tunable and not locked and will allow me to log, download, upload and get a remote tune from someone. Thanks for any help

What psi does it boost to? If the prior owner was nice, he may have reloaded the factory tune on it before selling. Shouldn't be higher than 15-17psi unless you live at altitude.
