disabling rear o2 sensor

do you need to unlock a car before you can disable the rear o2 sensor?

yeah I'm gonna run a catless or high flow cat and don't want any codes thrown, my buddy with a 2.2 has two of those in his dowpipe and he throws codes still. But I'm not sure I'll have to ask him about it

If you are using HPTuners, Yes you need to license the vcm. Disabling that DTC requires a reflash of the tune.

The anti foulers sold at stores don't fit in the exhaust tunnel.

Yeah i tried using the spacer on my 2.4 car before I tuned it. Never completly went away. It's better to tune it.

You know I can do that for you.

It's def worth it. Do it man. Don't be afraid to pulley down. I can help and make you a great deal on a tune and if you need a dual pass at the same time if you dont have it already.

Seriously forget all that ghetto autozone jiggering. Just get it tuned out whenever you have your car tuned. Either that or invest in a scan gauge like interceptor that can clear it (to pass inspections and such). That worked for me until I got tuned.

Ok cool. I remembered you have the stu mod but forgot what else.

You not at the point where guages are a must. They will help. But so many people have your set up, your money is better spent getting the other things needed for bigger mods and then the gauges to see what happening. I got my gauges after the 2.8 cause going smaller meant being very presice on things then.

The interceptor can be hooked up to a wideband to read correct afr's. It has 2 aux outputs.

Yeah you have the option of buying the LC-1 with it. I would have done that but wanted to use all 4 displays. I like keeping tabs on things
