Help me reduce knock.

My Stage Two Cavalier (lol). It's related. It's the 2.2 with the M62 Supercharger. 3" pulley. Dual pass installed.

My iat's are under 100 degrees most of the time, and once today I saw them go above 100. That's cooler than what I was on the stock pulley with the stock intercooler.

I have NGK Iridiums (two stages colder than stock).

My afr under wot is 12.8:1. It's leaner than I'd like.

The problem is this: I'm getting 7 degrees of knock. I don't like that.

What do you guys do to reduce knock? I don't have HPTuners available because it won't work with my ecu.

So my options are this:

1. Retard Timing with my DIS-2.
2. Water Injection.
3. Raise fuel pressure on already strained injectors.
4. Megasquirt.
5. SAFC

I'm leaning towards Water Injection and if I still get knock, I may retard with my DIS-2. What are your thoughts? Tips? Advice?

Use 94 octane if it's available, or even 100 octane. That will definately get rid of the knock for sure (100 octane) and you can possibly even add some timing

Is that a cavy with srt4 rims??? Doesn't look that bad

Getting back, If I were you, retard the timing until you get a hptune so you don't blow something up

can you not get any bigger injectors? If you could get the afr richer that may get you to where you need. The other option I would go with would be water injection.

I'm leaning towards Water Injection. What wonders has it done for you LSJ guys?

Also: which kit would you recommend?
