You NEEd an AFR gauge to check for AF. You cant really do too much with a stock pulley and just an intake. You might be able to play with timing and you would be able to fix your afr if you had an afr gauge. What do you mean by a tranny tune. Im guessing that just means he took off his Torque management in his tranny. Also what are his mods. If they are sort of like yours and he was tuned in a dyno or with an afr ratio and chekced for knock you should be fine.

He has a 2.4L BTW.

You will probably need to calibrate you MAF if you continue to experience problems or CEL's. Each car will behave a little different. And a Wideband never hurts.

By Reprogramming tranny I mean that the entire Automatic transmission is retuned. Shift points vs. RPM, vs. MPH, shift pressures, shift properties, forced motor currents, torque management, etc. It will not drive like the same transmission at all.

The 2.4L Level 2 is a solid tune. The only issues will probably MAF differences from his intake.

Oh an AF guage is worthless, don't bother with that. A Wideband is a gauge that tells you your actual AFR in numbers not just some silly lights. It has those silly lights too.

I really wouldn't recommend it for your use until you get those cams then it is almost certain you will need it.

BTW.....I haven't sent you the tune yet have I?
