HP Tuners vs EFILive
Some freinds of mine are purchasing the EFI Live tuning tool and have asked if I would be interested in going in on the purchase for my car (ss turbo).
I am not an experienced software tuner by any means, so my question to the pros is what are the pros and cons between the two? Will EFILive work just as well as HP Tuners? What are the advantages of either?
Thanks in advance guys.

I don't know anything about EFI Live, you should see if it even supports the Bosch E69 ECU in the LNF Turbo. I don't think it does.
HPT has about 90% of the tables unlocked compared to Trifecta and seems to be stagnant on increasing the tables we want access to. Boost Controller Duty Cycle, Fuel Pressure are two that come to mind.Ours is a dead platform so at least Trifecta keeps adding tables and features, downside of TF is that Vince does all the tuning and you flash it to the car. HP Tuners you can tune it yourself or have an email tune and logging session if you want from a tuner.
Trifecta ofers a HP Tunable base file that sets the tables HPT doesn't have access to then we can tune the other tables ourselves. The combo tune is what I run on mine. Two systems runs more money for sure but I had a TF tune a few years ago, then bought HPT and when they let us down I went to TF for the base file route at an upgrade price.
It'd be nice if one solution tweaked it all.

You can connect efilive and download your tune for free. this way you can check to see if it is compatible and has what you would want to tune. I did this with my 07 SS (different pcm than yours) and decided to go hptuners. if you don't hear anything from efilive soon i'd connect it and see if it will work. you only need to pay once you want to save changes to the tune.

Ok so, EFILive has Bosch E69 logging and reading ability in V8,
"Send your T43 file to support@efilive.com , not sure on a time frame to add it though." so they can further develop it.
