HP tuners won't connect

Long story short, I was tuning all day. I Put a new file in it and it wouldn't connect to scan. So I tried disconecting and reconecting turning on and off, blah blah balh. It kept asking for the vin and even aefter i gave it the vin I still couldn't connect. I downlaoded the new 2.2 and now it doesn't ask for the vin but it won't connect.

IN the end it says I need to turn my key on and unable to get information from VCM. I tried connecting to another car and it worked first time. The cable gets power when it's not connected to the computer.

Any ideas would help.

If you cannot connect to your OBD2 check your lighter fuse. I believe they're on the same fuse.

It's not the lighter fuse. I'll try the disconnecting trick.

Something provides power to the OBD2 port and it's fused. On Cavaliers it used to be the lighter fuse, but maybe it changed. Find out which one it is and check that.

WHen I say it's not the lighter fuse, I mean that I checked it and it's fine. The port is getting power, I'm just unable to get a connection.

My Documents ----> HP Tuners ----> Settings ----> HP Suite.cfg (I think it's "HP" in front, but i know it's the suite file)

Delete it.. Relaunch program and it will ask for your application key and it will connect.

I have to do this anytime I scan on 08+ vehicle and then go back to my balt
