MAF Tuning Help
I'm tuning for MAF using a wide band, but not logging it on hp tuners. If I'm rich (10.2) in a cell during pe, but my commanded pe afr is 11.7 should I increase or decrease the given cell. Also, to find out how far it is off should I divide the # by 11.7 or 14.7.
EX: 10.2 is 87% of 11.7 so should I multiply the given cell by .87?

the lower the number the leaner you can get it. drop it by .01 at a time. the easiest way i found of doing this is set pe at 11.5 all the way through. then add or drop maf. after words set the pe to where u actually want it, get a hist going and see where ur at.

you need to create a histogram that will record your % AFR error.
which will calculate the percentage that your ACTUAL AFR is off from your COMMANDED.
after driving around and hitting all the cells multiple times,
you use that table of error, and paste it by % into the corresponding table.
rinse repeat until the error starts to get around 0-2% you wont get it much better than that.

I tried setting up a pid using the a/c sensor and it didn't work. So now I'm using the program that the wide band came with to chart AFR vs RPM. Using HP tuners scanner I can see what MAF hz I'm at during a particular time in the run. I know this is not the easiest way, but I've given up trying to get the a/c sensor to work. So if I'm rich should I reduce the MAF #?
