Misfire detection LSJ; turn off?

Question for the HPT gurus:
The LSJ ecu (probably) monitors misfire detection and will turn a code (or limp mode) if too excessive. Can this detection be turned off by HPT?? (detection rpm raised to 8000+ or so)

Need this for possible traction control. => TC interrupts injectors causing misfires...

You can turn off the codes using hp tuners. Not a smart idea though. Hole reason for a code is to let you know there might be a problem you need to look at and not hide it.

So open the tune file itself and go under DTC set if for no errors under the code that going off. And write Cal to the ecu.
