like my car, it dynod 288whp 370wtrq...
so i tell people it has 288hp.
do i drive a diesel that makes more trq than hp or a lnf no, so i dont know what the **** is up with that dyno but i have a dyno sheet that proves i only make 288whp but yet i eat procharged srt-8's and 427R's for breakfast... yuum

drew, why no mention about the 27psi trifecta vs the 22psi psycho tune? i'm not on either side, don't get me wrong. i just want to know your take on this
and also, you could use a correction factor like you said for a more accurate dyno number estimate, but if both dyno runs are on the same correction factor then that shouldn't really matter in comparing tunes

My only argument is that his comparison is intentionally deceptive. Also inflating the numbers doesn't help at all either. Why is this car only making 266WHP at 27PSI? Something is up here. I have ridden in the car and its much better off than that.
And I don't get where he gets off all high and mighty when he has nuked more engines than any tuner on here.

For example say I did 3 runs, I ran 243/300, 258/300, and 260/310 on one tune
and another tune I ran 245/299, 257/300, 263/305. And say the proprieter of the 2nd tune comes on cobalt ss.net and says his tune is better, here are the results:
tune 1: 243/300
tune 2: 263/305
You know without taking scientific averages or anything, can you not see that the proprietor of tune number 2 is skewing the results for personal gain? I don't care about the numbers, I care about the motive and distortion.

I agree though track times speak volumes over WHP numbers

i have a perfect concept of it. i however am the one not losing sleep over it. if someone else chooses someone else's tune over mine. go for it. it has happened before. you however care way too much about this.
companies do this sort of thing all the time. 99% of the population don't catch it.

you also need to sit in a corner if you think either of these are nice numbers. The owner of the car informed me that he just replaced his fuel pressure sensor because it was broken. I have his refined tune now, he should be much happier, I will post the real dyno results up when he gets back from the dyno.
