Turbo tuning question

I currently have a 2.4L that has all air flow read off the maf sensor.

would it be better to change the maf for a map sensor to tune off of? as in more accurate or should I jsut get big enough intake piping to fit my factory maf sensor and tune off that?

well actually we have both sensors, the maf reads the mass air flow and the map reads the manifold absolute pressure.
map controls timing and maf controls fueling
you do not need to change either one of those sensors. if you are boosted like i am then you upgrade your map sensor to a 2 bar

so basically I should upgrade my intake piping to be big enough to fit my maf sensor. and then upgrade to a 2 bar map sensor. where is out stock map sensor on our intake manifold?

naw i dont think so... i just dont know if it will fit properly, i know my stock intake diameter isnt 3" and my maf is plugged in at a 3" part lol.. it just affects a bit of fueling, which you have to caibrate for..

okay, I found a turbo for my car, I am trading for it. and it has 2" piping so I need to enlarge it then. and where is the stock map sensor on the 2,4 located? built into the intake manifold?

yea.. there's only one set of wires that go to the front of the intake manifold, you probably have to take all the stock intake stuff of to see it,
