Where to begin in Indiana?
Though familiar with cobalts, and have owned an SS/TC in the past, this is the first time I've had to mess with the tuning aspects. I am completely ignorant as to what all it involves.
I picked up an 09 Sedan from another member on here, and it's built pretty well. LDK, s256et turbo kit, cams w upgraded fuel lobes, etc. Pretty much every bolt-on possible.
So what do I need a tuner for? Things I'm interested in:
I have access to E85, so I'm interested in running an E85/47 tune.
Cat warmup is still enabled, and cold starts in Indiana on my 93 ocatane tune are not always so good....
In the future I plan to turn the boost way up when I get around to doing rods, pistons, and maybe upgrading the fuel system if necessary.
Basically, in summary, I don't even know where to begin. I don't know if anyone is local and can help, or how to track them down. I know tuning can be done remotely, but I don't know how this works either.
Somebody help me get the potential out of my car.......

Remote tune requires you to have hpt. You get sent a base file and email logs back to your tuner, he'll send you an adjusted file back each time until it's dialed In.
It seems most of the remote tuners on here have moved on to different platforms. But I've heard nothing but rave reviews from KMO43 on here. Even helped me out with a few things I wanted to change with my term tune.
Being so close to 2 of the bigger names in the ecotec market, ZZP and PWERKS, I would schedule a day trip to either of those places and get tuned on their dynos for maximum potential from your setup

If you want to log your car and see how well it's doing, like at the track, purchase hp tuners (hpt) it also includes a scanner to clear codes. And like sr tech said you can be tuned remotely by a tuner by logging the way the car runs and sending it back to them via email to revise it based on how the car is running. I have had good luck with 09cobaltss1 as a tuner, he did a good job on mine. Or you could go with a couple other others. Or do what sr said and take a trip to pwerks or ZZP and get it done plus they have a Dyno.
