PCV Check Valve option now avaliable on Turbo Tech Racing LNF Intake Manifolds.
PCV Check Valve option now available on Turbo Tech Racing LNF Intake Manifolds.
We have completed the upgrade cartridge kit option for our LNF intake manifolds.
This option allows you to install your factory PCV check valve and maintain stock PCV functionality. (Check valve not included). Upgrade option includes: Check valve cartridge, lines, all connection fittings, and install instructions.
In addition, the ability to filter the oil/air through a separator (not included). Not allowing engine oil to migrate to the intake valves, from the intake manifold PCV port. The current stock manifold would be nearly impossible to separate the oil/air, as the stock PCV valve/intake manifold is to intergraded, not allow an easy way to filter the oil out.

Out of respect for him I won't continue to address your remarks here. I think They are entirely out of place and unnecessary.

Easy to add to any past purchased manifold... Just have to drill a 11/32" diameter hole in your main flange (location of factory pcv port between cylinder 2 and 3) and tap with a standard 1/8" NPT tap. Everything else would be a direct bolt on. Simple install.

What exactly do you mean? Do the Belvedere GDS waltz, and the explanation of how the PCV works will probably answer your question. But to help you, the inlet manifold PCV port only allows venting of the crankcase under idle and off throttle conditions. On boost of any level, the valve closes.
The migration of oil in the intake comes from the dirty side of the PCV system, entering through the impeller side of the turbo. The Powell PCV upgrade takes care of that.
Nonetheless we have been sent a TTR manifold to retrofit the stock PCV valve. The retrofit we have done includes a stock PCV valve, and the machined part has the same, correct port sizes the stock Inlet manifold has. The retrofit is for PCV purposes only.
This retrofit costs about $125.00 including the valve, but not including the cost of re Powder coating the manifold, or shipping costs.
I am sure the customer will be happy to post pictures of the completed assembly on his car.

Nice work John. What you offer is something that members most likely could not do in their garage; as to why we did the cartridge option.
However on future TTR manifolds we have already spoken about making an intergrated option as you show. However cost would be higher than the current cartridge option (just like you are charging more than our option), with little or less benifit.
Our cartridge option is only $59.99 when purchase at the same time as a TTR Manifold, or $69.99 when purchase at a later date.
We also have noticed that oil does come through the front PCV valve into the intake manifold. As much as the rear PCV? No. But it still does have some. We are already working on offering our cartridge system to be intergrated into an oil/air seperator, to completely remove any possible chance of engine oil on the valves.
Never the less good job on the retrofit.

What he is asking is if it is "nearly impossible" to oil/air separate the front PCV port on the stock intake manifold. The answer in short is yes it would be very difficult, compared to our cartridge option we now offer. With enough drilling/tapping, plugging, etc on your stock manifold, it could be done, but not a simple process.

Here is a picture the customer sent me with it installed. I am sad for him. My job was to fix the PCV issue, and that was done. But now he has installed it, its clear this manifold does not have the anchor points of the stock part. The dipstick has no anchor point anymore. That can be rigged with tie wraps, I supposed. But the HPFP line and regulator, has no provision to be secured properly. If you have one of these things please anchor the HPFP line properly.
