I was....Just sold my stash of parts. Almost everything I had left. Used to run a 2165 CC engine at about 130 HP and lots of torque.
Biggest mistake I made was going from a center mounted dual Weber to dual carbs. Hated trying to keep them synched and could never pass smog tests.
I have owned 4 Beetles and one Bus.
Wanted to build an Intermechanica Porsche 356 with Aircooled VW drive train + turbo but figured that is never going to happen.
