Question Problems with 9007 H/L Kit

I recently installed the Vision Bulbs 9007 H/L kit and am experiencing a couple problems.

1. My passenger light seems to warm up a lot quicker than my drivers side light and once they are both lit up, they look slightly different colours. The driver's light looks more white than the passenger's (more yellowish). I checked all my connections and they seem fine. Could it be defective bulbs or ballasts?

2. I got the H/L bi-xennon kit but when I turn on the high beems nothing happens. Was I supposed to do something special? I thought this kit was supposed to be plug and play?

Thanks,
Matthew

there are so many threads like this. tahe a look at the sticky about it. you cannot have high beams with a "xenon kit". the bi-xenon referrs to the motorized projector that some cars are equipt with.

Right - but you can buy a regular 9007 kit or a Hi/Lo 9007 kit from Vision's site. So what's going on here - either false advertising - or bad install. That's the question.

EDIT: Noticed in another thread that Vision says you need a special wiring adapter thingy - anyone get this?

Yeah, they told me that it is a high and low beam. Then again, they made me believe that it was plug and play too. Whatever, I have a 200 dollar set of bulbs sitting on my floor that probably will never get installed.

They said that the wire harness is included in the box, and that's what I used, so maybe they gave me the wrong one???? I've emailed and PM'd them and they wont respond.... isn't that great customer service...

I wonder what I spent an extra $100 (CAD) for????? just for a sticker with H/L after the 9007????

Yeah, customer service is great...... Oh wait, no it is not at all, it takes them like 2 weeks to get back to me, at the earliest. I hate the fact that I paid an extra 75 for the H/L and it will not work..... I also hate the fact that they made it seem like it was a cobalt specific kit, but the instructions suck and you apparently have to splice **** in.....

I also love that this kit comes from China..... High quality product, huh?

i bought mine from a member on the site.they were plug and play but i had to do some splicing and wiring myself lol. the instructions were garbage. what brand form overseas did you get? it might be the same brand and i could show you how mine are wired up. it is possible to have a high and low beam...only if its a douple bulb yor putting in. hid on one end and a another bulb off to the side.hid lights up low beam until you flip the switch to high and then the penut bulb lights up and that is your high.not really a nead if you ask me.post a pic and let me see the wiring...i might be able to walk you through it :P
