Any year I think works Jeff. I want that 4.45 final drive gear for my F23 if the price is right.

More power is better. 4.41 on an f23 is like a 4.90 on an f35. Do some gearing/speed calculations before you make that decision.

Well, new motor should do 300-350 whp, figure while the trans is on the floor of the shop as well it might be a worthwhile upgrade

You might like a 4.17 better. There are lots of ratios to choose from.

I see 5 speed vues in the local u pull it yards from time to time, but it's about $200 to pull the trans yourself. Every vue has that gearing?

Yeah.

3.63 xfe
3.84 regular cobalt
3.94 cavalier/sunfire
3.95 08+ hhr
4.17 06-07 hhr
4.41 vue

Make sure to check the rpo codes on the 4.17 tho because the switchover point was mid year i believe.
