thats the worst thing to do. You have to let off the clutch gently at first then dump it once the tranny catches.

I have a 5k rpm staging stock, so I cant rev it to redline if I wanted to.

Lol i know its horrible, but he was trying to beat me! Funny thing is I beat him by .01 second with a shitty 2.2 60' and trapped 10mph higher!

Im really not sure what the stock sti turbo is capable of power wise on them. I dont think 400awhp tho to be honest!!

I have a customer with a 02 WRX.....289K on the odo, 2nd motor only. Runs 20-21 psi peak with basic bolt ons plus a lil extra custom stuff Dude pulled a 12.8 @ 108 in it! If your buddy still has it, Ill send you a tune to try if you want

We are rebuilding it all forged, and he has some 1000cc injectors he is putting in to run E85. I assume your tune is for premium? Ill ask him if he is gonna run the stock injectors for a while and if he is we will load that tune up!

Im running a 20G and 850's on it now. Big MAF housing and inlet etc.. My latest tune is prolly WAY different. I thought he was still basic bolton stuff, sorry!

it was a evo ix mr 6 speed i raced from a roll and he jumped and i would still pull him by atleast 2 lengths 40 roll

He still will be when he puts it back together, but after its broken in and he gets the funds he will put the 1000's in and an 18G or 20G, not sure yet. All I know is he better not blow it up again because working on that motor wasnt easy lol

you beat the driver. Either that, or he had something wrong with his car ( possibly a boost leak ). The mivec coupled with a redline of 7.5k gives the evo the top end that sti's dont have.

On average a stock evo ix makes around 250-260 whp. You may have raced an viii, not an ix.
