On my way back from the gas station yesterday I encountered a 2011GT as I pulled out. The car had dealer plates on it, and still had the plastic on the bumpers etc., so I would assume it had only a few miles on it. But you should have seen the smile on the guys face.....pretty sure it matched mine.....I was amazed to already see one...

But heres how it went. I pulled out of the station, and he had just left a stop light, so we were both in first. My car has slicks on it....he had stock tires. He must of had traction control on, because it just kinda fell on its face, as I launched HARD. I put something like 10 cars on him thru 2nd.

Little farther down the road, we both are in 2nd going about 30. We both hit it, and again I put a good 10 cars on it thru second gear.

Next run was from about 55, 3rd for me. He just took off, and I had to play catch up. Didn't take long, and thru 3rd gear I still had multiple cars on him.

I tried to get him to pull over so I could look at the car, but he just kept waving me off when I motioned for him to pull off. Damn it.

My car at the moment has a ported blower with a 2.76 upper, 2lb lower, exhaust, intake, tune, and I had the M/T slicks on it. Dyno'd at 525/505 with current setup. Can't wait to get the Kenne Bell back on it...

I am going today to the local dealer to see if I can hunt it down. I wanna test drive it. Really thinking about buying one....

 

Damn I got excited for a second...I am really interested in seeing how a stock 2011 GT (with a decent driver) will fair against a bone stock Termi...should be interesting but I suspect that the Termi will walk away slowly...

I like the exterior of the SN95s but the interior is god awful.

Love the new 2011 interior though, im 2 years into the TC and man i hate the interior, nothing like scraping your knuckles on plastic trim when adjusting your seat..... its embarrassing

guy's i just want to know what you all think about the new twin turbo v6 in the new taraus sho. i believe it might be a more competetor than the gt. and just think when the aftermarket goes comes out for it.

They stated the TBSS wasnt getting on it that hard. Plus from a roll a basically stock TBSS isn't a roll racer.
