06 balt VS 06 Silverado SS

silverado put down 340rwhp/380 rwtrq, he is a friend of mine and we where on our way to get his truck dyno'd. he has longtubes, PCM4less tune, CAI, and a plethra of other crap. my car has the ZZP 2.7 pulley and hub, ported blower, XTC intake, 3 inch catback, and a few other mods. we went from a 40 roll, and i imidiatly put 5 cars on him and just kept pulling. he swore i was spraing my 75 shot on him but i wasnt hes convinced that his 150 shot is going to make up those bus lengths i put on him but hes got a rude awakening when he goes to spray on me and i also crack my bottle

Nice. I was taken by a silverado SS once. Not sure if he was goin all out cause he didnt pull very hard on me at all. The truck had dealer tags so I know he was stock and I still didnt expect to win but I though it would pull harder than it did.

Bus lengths! LMAO!! Thats greeeeat! But don't forget them 340 horses have to haul around over 4000 pounds and that makes a big difference.

They are pretty nice trucks though, i've gotta admit that. I wish they came with the 400 hp ls2 or the 500 hp ls7...now that would be interesting

My buddie has a stock Silverado SS. My ss/sc is stock when we raced, and it was a sluaghtering! The first time we went from a roll in mid second gear, and by the time I was through 2nd I had 1-2 cars on him. The only time he could make it close was from a stop because of the 40/60 awd. At which point he'd take me off the line (which was my first time trying to launch this thing), once I stopped spinning I was bringing him in so fast, I thought he had let off, so I let off, only to hear that big bitch still reving like a *****! He was still on er' hard. They are fast...for a truck. Lots of potential thought. Lots of cubes.
