nice. i really want to hear how u like being turbo vs supercharged + nitrous. like your real input since you would have done both by the time ur turbo. i feel s/c+nitrous is a blast. every time i spray i rock my friends with gto's and evo's and just walk like 4-5 cars on them and they have some bolt on's. it's fun. i still feel the good 'ol 45 shot + gm stg2 + 2.80 was the best my car ever pulled, maybe i am just getting used to it? i trap over 90mph in the 1/8 and in the 1/4 on cheater slicks over 110mph. car puts down some nice power. eventually i'll bring it to the track and run a mid to high 12.

Heh, my car has a built motor, shes good.

I run 14* timing, 60's. The car WAS tuned for 19* timing, 10.x afr, then tuner backed it off to 14* timing when I told him I get horrible gas mileage. This right here killed my power output tremendously.

Chris i'd run you after it's tuned. My tune vs your tune is different, especially the timing tables.

 

be careful with the mid 10 AFR's on a wet shot. fuel floods the cylinder and gets behind the first piston ring, then BOOM goes the ringland(yes even on forged pistons). Lean it out a little to be safer and a little quicker

Very good run. I owned an LSJ at one point with stage 2 and a few other mods and I can see how with a shot of nitrous it would beat a tuned LNF. With a little bit of tuning your car will be much more of a beast for sure.

 

Yep, when it's tuned it should haul ass for an SC.

Not sure why anyone with an LNF would get up in arms in this case (or in any case for that matter), close races and you even went so far as to post the video of your mis-shift. The LNF doesn't really "fall off" at the top, but far too many tunes are pushing its redline higher and higher and beyond that 6000ish threshold then it DOES fall flat on its face because the extra redline isn't required .
