So yesterday I was challenged by this Polish guy claiming he'll do doughnut's around my car. He had full exhaust work done, catless, tuned, intake, the whole sha bang to him. I knew of a place where it's safe to go off the line and a roll. Needless to say I smoke him by at least 10 car's (not joking) off the line with minor wheel spin, and at least 6 car lengths from a 40-50 mph roll. What are those car's rated at anyways??

I'm thinking that car stock is around 215hp, with 0-60 around the mid 7s range....

my friend has one with similar mods and i only beat him by maybe 4-5 cars and i have a full exhaust and a tune

 

dude not to be a jerk but you did not beat him by 10 car lenghts, thats huge, if its true it means u drive a rocket , or his cars i a turd, or he wasnt trying.

even 6 cars seems way large, im not saying u didnt win but 6 to 10 cars is a huge gap... thats like 60 feet to 100 feet .... thats like 1/10th of a 1.4 mile track lenght u beat him by.. lol

 

yea from my experience 4 cars is gud for about a full second n a 1/4 mile.... and thats a really long time.....

it more than likely is an automatic. they didnt make a manual version of that car until 04 or 05 and there are not that many of them around....

and 10 cars does seem rather extreme....

 

10 cars is a bit extreme, but IS300's are pretty heavy bricks. Won't argue with an SS S/C smoking the **** out of a stock IS300 though.

 

My Lexus has the same engine (2JZ-GE) as the Is300. In n/a form it is not a fast car. But....add a turbo and kiss your ass good bye

I raced a stage 2 Redline (Kingofthehill) at California speedway a few months back. I burned him off the line, but he realled me in quick and had a good 2 cars on me at the 1/4. Bare in mind Im bone stock with 216,xxx miles.
