Hey p0rk anything done to the kraut wagon yet? I like the new Mark Vs. I heard they get it done with APR chips and downpipes/intercoolers?!
I ask because I encountered a moded 1.8t Jetta and a Focus SVT playing on the highway recently. I got into the mix. It still amazes me the looks I get when I start slowly..surely walking away and then proceed to stomp on their egos. The following strikes me when I race people...:
1. I am debadged so they can't believe a "COBALT" is pulling them
2. Their face looks like they woke up next to their sister naked
3. They can't believe its a Cobalt
4. They lean forward on the steerng wheel as I walk by, like it'll help
5. They have bitter beer face
6. They can't believe its a COBALT!!!

i just want to chime in and say that its cool that we got an srt, an sti, a wrx and a cobalt all talking pretty much civilized and giving props to each others cars...oh, and a gli there, pork

I agree campo... there arent too many forums where there arent annoying ricers talking that there cars are the fastest in the world and they could beat anything that comes along... thanks for being civilized everyone!!

I actually had two Camaro SS's, one 2000 and one 2002.
I traded the 2000 in on my SS/SC when it had 43,000 miles on it.
I had both the SS/SC and 2002 SS for a while and found myself driving the SS/SC more than the SS.
Now for why I got rid of them:
I modified each with SLP parts only SLP/Blackwing Air Lid & Filter, SLP LT Headers, SLP Cat-Back, SLP/Bilstein suspension and I used the SLP spec Predator programmer. So basically I was to a point where I needed to do internal work top make them faster. Not to mention the 7.5 would have to go. Since I hate loud ass lopey modern day sports cars and I really didn't feel like tearing into them.
As they both sat they could run 12's on street tires and do 175mph + which was I thought was fast enough for me.
But just like my other 26 cars and Honda CBR it got boring so I sold it.
