Well, finally got to run one os these damn things! Geeze....that thing was quick. We went from 2 40 rolls, 3 digs. I wasted him on the first roll run...2-3 cars(he was auto) ..2nd roll race it was mine by about half a car. The first two dig races...god awful. He had cat-back and I have Airbox Mod BTW. I was honking and trying to launch...bad idea. He totally left me from the dig (I don't even wanna mention) But the third dig race he honked for me, and it was nearly neck and neck until about 60, and I finally pulled about half a car on him and held that till 120... Whew it was extremely close!!

Yes...lol...he was an alright guy...but it definitely was the GXP

 

i dont like the way it looks with the big front grill and even bigger wing but i wouldnt mind racing one!

 

yeah they're not too bad...he could drive it purty good too..he was launching hard too...are they rear wheel drive?

It's the exact same as the '07 GTP... you've probably all already ran one, don't go thinking the GXP is a different car. That car should be making a little more than 252 hp out of a 3.6L V6, and that front end needs some work. Not to mention, automatic only... GM what were ya thinking?

And if you ever thought General Motors could not possibly make an uglier spoiler than the SS/SC high wing.......... think again.

They are fast still though...the times aren't that different if you did some research. I just didn't expect them to be that fast.

 

^^ Research? If you mean the times aren't that different between the GTP and the GXP, they're not... they're the same... because it's the exact same car. On G6 forums they say a SS/SC will always be faster than the 3.6. The 6-speed auto with manual shift in that car is a good transmission though.

 

No, times between us and them... sorry I forgot to specify that. Watch out for 'em from a dig..they're pretty awesome off the line(no spinning)

 

^^ True. And if Balt owners think they have bad torque steer... Try punching it in a GTP/GXP; wrenches the wheel out of your hand.

I ranted about the G6 in a thread before but it's for its own good... I'm a big fan and it's a pretty good car, just falls short of the new Accord and Altima coupes in nearly every regard.
