06 ss/sc vs 300c SRT8

So i was driving into work this morning at about 615 am and there is so much traffic living in Northern VA its ridiculous. But there is always one stretch of road that opens up,

The whole trip to that stretch i was messing around with this black 300srt and we both know that the road was coming. So i got up next to him and we were at 60 and we hit it all the way to 130. I was about 2 cars behind him he was steadily pulling all the way thru. I know these things are known to run 13.2's but damn i was not expecting to be beat that bad. I havent ran my car in the 1/4 yet so i guess i shouldve figured i was gonna be beat.

But hey it made my drive to work this morning that much better

Good run, those SRT8's are quick for being a fat 4-door.

Good run! No shame in that loss. I've seen those cars run 13 flat at 109 bone stock with a competent driver. Considering you guys went from a roll, all he had to do was stomp it and let that 6.1 liters do the rest of the work.

You have any exhaust mods?

I took one from a 40 roll pretty easy. He turned off right after i passed him. I couldn't find out for sure what he had but the exhaust sounded nice. You might have done better from a slower roll but the outcome would be the same. Good try though.

I have a MPx downpipe and flowmaster muffler. Working on getting full 3" custom exhaust this spring.
