I raced my friend tonight on my home from work. I got a '07 LS Sedan and hes got a '97 Civic, non vtec, sedan. i got a fujita cai, oh and a red front badge. lol. hes torn a bunch of $h!t outta it and has a custom intake, custom cap and rotor, racing wires, racing plugs, aftermarket suspension and exhaust, (i helped him put those on) and hes done some other things since then, just woodnt tell me what. lol


anyways. we went to an elementary school that has like a 3/8 mile road down to striaght to the back. we raced about 1/4 mile of it. off the start it was pretty much even (cuz i got those awsome continentals that dont do anything but spin) then i caught some traction and it was still even. i was ahead by a lil n he was catchin up. but once i hit third, forget it. i was out. won by at least 2 cars. ran again right after that with the same outcome.


idk if you guys consider that anygood since its non vtec but he raced a new accord with everything u dnt need ripped out and a v6 in it. and a tricked out eclipse and took both of them.

once you get the spinning under control by getting rid of the conties you will see most of the civic's except the new si with 197hp isnt a match mods to mods....honda's just dont have torque or they would be more of a threat than what they are

 

yea i know. hondas suck. lol. but i havent really raced anyone else cept a 04 rsx wit triptonics. but i didnt think that was worth mentioning. lol. i had more of a contest from the honda.

 

Dont they have like 240HP? I thought they were decently quick for a accord?

 

no clue. i guess there fast. but he beat one. maybe the guy just didnt know how to drive. lol

 

accords come in I4 and v6 trim. the 4's a dog as you can imagine.
