08 Slowbalt TC Vs RSX-S and 92 Civ Hatch

Cliff notes at the bottom.[/U][/B]

So, i was just driving around in Mexico last night, looking to waste some time (i was bored, not looking for a race or anything), and while at the front of a light, waiting to turn, this black rsx-s flies by with the cross traffic and some tubby little nicky-looking kid hangs out of the passenger seat and screams something. I started wondering what he said, but with my light turning green and making me go the opposite way they were going, i ingore it and just drive on.

I get a about a mile down the road before saying "**** it, i want to know what they screamed at me", so i do a u-turn and haul ass back in their direction. Takes about another 10 minutes of riding around before i do run into them again. As soon as i get even with the car, the driver starts honking. Damnit, i didn't want to race, i just wanted to know what he screamed. **** it, let's race.

We're going about 40, and at the 3rd honk, we take off. Well, i take off. I'm not sure what he did, but it wasn't the equivalent of taking off. I get to the top of third, and by this time i have 3 or more cars on him. Can't judge too well with the mirrors. He tells me to follow him to a store, so i do. While following, i notice he's changed the badging on the back: red honda badge, it now says integra, and the right side says type-s.

We get to the store, and he asks me if i've bought the tuner for it, since he can tell there isn't any exhaust work. I said nope, bone stock. He then asks if i want to run his friends car (fat little nicky). I said sure, why not, then i ask what it is. I can't remember the motor/tranny/turbo combo, but it's a 92 civ hatch with 207whp/158wtq. So i start thinking, that's pretty nice for a car that weighs about 700lbs+ less than my car. Sure, why not.

He gets the car, and we head out to the hwy. He wants to go from 40mph, so sure, we do. When we start, i push out ahead, then he catches up. I shift to third and start to slowly pull. I hear him shift, and i walk away more. During the 4rth gear pull, i hear him shift again, and by that time, i'm leaving him wayyyy behind.

We do a u-turn, and he said whatever tranny he has (forgot the name), is close ratio, and has him shifting all the time. He said he had to shift to fifth gear at the end of the race, while i was still in 4th.

We exchanged phone number to go from a dig in the near future. It was starting to sprinkle, so we didn't want to do anything stupid in the rain.

Cliff Notes:
Cobalt vs RSX: From 40mph, bus length or more by top of third.
RSX: intake, exhaust, retune

Cobalt vs 92 hatch: Closer race from 40mph, one car ahead by top of third, continued to walk away from after going into 4th.
Civic: 207whp/158wtq, don't remember motor/tranny combo.

+1
That si should have went down hard, if it was stock. Hell, the rsx-s' are quicker than the new si' is.

I agree, I'd also never just drive around aimlessly in Mexico either.

I called him tubby, i was exaggerating for story details.

He could have been yelling something important, like "Hey, pardon me sir, but i do believe you currently have an street illumination device that is malfunctioning."

You know, i just had to check.

Quit being pussies, mexico is where it's at.
