This is my first post racing so I really don't do it much. I was coming home from the movies and I hurry up and pass three cars and make it to the right lane before turning. I guess I caught the attention of a G6 GTP and we meet at the next stop light.

I knew he wanted to run since he came up on the light pretty fast, so we both start out normal then I see him punch it and I follow. I was in 1st gear at the time and I spun until I threw it into 2nd. I don't like to go insane speeds so I let off midway to third around 70 miles per hour and I had about a half car on him. Needless to say I'd bet I could have had him more if I had some traction. Like I said I don't race much but this was fun

I like the look besides the gay wing on those cars. It was white, very nice.

The Hammerhead spoiler? I hate those things alot as well, especially on the coupes. Ill check the G6P forums and see if any members posted anything up

Yeah my buddy has a black one around here and I was tuned with no bolt ons at the time I found the car to be very attractive but he sold it every once in a while I see it around and it still grabs my attention , I think they look sweet, but it wasn't even a match for me . Interior and stuff inside are a lot more pronounced then our balts thats for sure .. the chrome grill and body kits really make them look cool imo , wing no ..

if there is one behind u and u look in that rearview it just STARES you down. those grills are mean as hell looking. kudos on GM for that call

They are damn pretty. But heavy unfortunately, and no manual with the 3.6. The 06 GTP's w/ 3.9 had the F40 6-spd as an option, but there's not many of those around.

There's an LE5 w/ 6-speed auto G6 coupe now. Surely a 16 second car.

my roomie has a G6 GT with the 3.5L it's goes pretty good for what it is. i think 0-60 is around 7.6 seconds. not a rocket by any means but it feels quick.. it's just too heavy ... good race!
