so I'm cruisin in the right lane on rt 22 at about 50 mph when I look up in my mirror and suddenly see HID's and hood scoop, bam, 08/09 sti I think, from a roll he will never catch up from behind to pass me. So I see an opening to weave around a car and after that car, open highway. He stays behind me , I make my swerve move and downshift into third at 60 mph and floor it, he does the same. by the time I backed off at about 100mph he was 6-7 lengths behind and ssed as all heck. he cuts in front of me and charges into some sparse congestion ahead weaving and zipping in and out of lanes to pass other unsuspecting motorists, I just slowed down and smiled. btw it was the new wrx.

 

i dont even think its possible to pull 7 lenths going from 60 to 100. ud have to be a damn rocket lol ur cars not that much faster.

 

he wasnt racing, you would win either way, but 7 lengths.... this isnt a corolla lol

 

could it have been an 08? they had alot less power than the 09's. they both look the same.

 

the new WRX is faster 0-60 then the new STI haha that's sad.... 265hp vs 305hp.. guess it's more torquey

 

Why wouldnt you just line up with him?
