09 Cobalt SS/TC v.s. 2010 Camaro

I am going to break the usual thread and actually post about a race that HAPPENED. Hope nobody gets upset.

Guy at work has been talking mad **** about my car ever since I got it. Finally called me out yesterday after work. We ran from a dig, told him to go when he was ready no horns or count. Heard his tires squeal and I put the hammer down, he took me off the line of course but by the beginning of 3rd gear I was already passing him and put a bus length on him before he gave up. This morning he tells everyone his stuff cut out at 120 and it took me that long to catch up to him. I said your a lie I was passing you at 80. Told him we could run again whenever he was ready but this time since you want to be technical about it we will do a 40 roll, and go on my 3rd horn.

His mods are some bolt ons and a tune. Not sure if it's a canned tune or street tune like HPT or what.

Sorry no vids of said race I don't have a gopro and I didn't have a passenger to video the race.

It was the V6. I highly doubt I would be able to put a bus on the V8 especially from a dig.

I didn't want to race him because it wouldn't be worth it but I just got tired of him talking ****. He's got excuses now, saying he took off in Drive instead of switching to manual, blah blah. He had every advantage possible handed to him and he still lost. Get over it. lol

Looks like I will be racing him again shortly. He is saying "manual mode" will make the difference and I wont see anything but his rear bumper. LMAO.

This dude is just in denial. I beat him obviously, there were 8+ witnesses and he still says he's got me. "Next time, I will take you"

Sounds like he and the "12,000 dollar le5" guy would be good friends.

He's big on bikes and stuff, there are a couple guys he has turned his attention to now. Some guys out here put 11-15K in their bikes motors. They are nasty but I can't imagine putting that much money into a bike like that.

Working on getting a GoPro so I can record stuff like this. I have a camcorder it's an older one. Like when they first started putting HD's in camera's. lol It would be like putting a brick on my dash.
