^ i actually have raced on dirt. a lot in high school. ive also been to driving schools; which 95% of cobalt owners havent. really? do we need to do this mod for mod bull AGAIN? alright, stock my car runs at least .5 fast than cobalts in the quarter mile (everyone here is saying bring it to the track), i have only a downpipe and am around 290awhp and 320 awtrq. PLEASE will a cobalt come race me, PLEASE. and rissa, if no one cares about it how come multiple ss/tc's have come in and tried to prove MY NUMBERS wrong even after i give proof? hmmm clearly you guys care (yeah rissa we know youre a girl).

i didnt say in my cobalt. the cobalt is not made for that. i rebuilding my 76 ta i have thatis what i race all the time on the dirt. and if u want to do mod for mod on that all i need to do is change rear ends gears. i been racing on dirt in middle school with my dad.if u want to get down to it i been working on cars from the time i could turn a wrench. i not saying my cobalt is better then anything. older cars are the real cars!

You are telling me to quit comparing apples to oranges, when YOU are in a COBALT forum, BRAGGING about your BUKAKKE-Mobile, and how it will take anyone out. I know of 1 STI in Tucson that will blow my doors off, and he has more into his car, than the total cost of your car. Turbo Chevy Cobalt knows who I am talking about, and he will vouch for mine and his car being able to obliterate most of the imprezza fan club in Tucson.

Also you never invited me to a dirt track, I would put money on me beating you in a rental FWD vehicle. (I have beat WRX's in a rental cobalt before, it was amusing) ANd your R6 Won't rape anything on the road, Any liter-bike port 01 would rape you and make you feel like you are on a vespa. Not to mention all the new 600's and 750's.

 

where the hell did you get 2006? i have a 2010 haha. and all your cobalt buddies are saying 1/4 mile or nothign. i drove an ss/sc, i owned one prob modded more than yous and i can tell you from a roll my wrx will smoke it, from a dig, well we know whatll happen.

its shows youre even sillier if you think a liter bike will beat a 600 around a track. if youve ever raced bikes before (i have), youll know that the 600 is the way to go. all the track officials at VIR (virginia international raceway) ride 600's like its their job (well it is haha). i dont see how youre so confident now with a stock rental cobalt that you can beat me. you make me giggle. and when did i say race from a dig to 60? ive said numerous times ill do a roll with you and other cobalts come in and say the quarter mile is where its at. dude, your just digging deeper and putting words in my mouth. I will say this, of all the cobalts total on this forum, i could beat at least 97% of them in the quarter mile in just my stage 2. thats not bragging, its realistic.

and new 600's and the only 750 (gsxr) wont rape me sorry. i have a lot more to the wheels than any new 600. they make what? 105 tot he tire, yeahhhh im in the high 120's to the tire sorry. thanks custom tune power commander!

yeah, I bet that AWD comes quite in handy during the other 10 months of the year doesnt it? especially when those gas prices go up! and just to let you know, the wrx doesnt fit 5 grown men comfortably either, thats why its called a sport compact car...

Lets see... Im going to try and impersonate your message here... but I dont own a wrx so im going to improvise.

My mom's Kia Sorento will destroy your puny little wrx. Its AWD, its BIGGER, and it has TWO count them TWO more cylinders than your little u-rab-us. Not to mention that if we got in a front end collision, my moms Sorento would destroy your wrx!!!! Oh and did I mention the tires on the Sorento are way bigger than yours? And I CAN fit 5 grown men very very comfortably where you can only fit them comfortably.

 

I love AWD and the boxer engine is the best sounding engine ever. The new WRX265 (what they call them up here) is a great economic alternative to the STI. You still get a lot of power.

I would be really happy too if I just bought one (aside from the buyers guilt) however I wouldn't come on a adolencent car forum pigeon chested claiming "My car is the best!".

Last week some kid was spraying down his WRX in the stall next to me. He pulled out revving and started to towel off. I noticed he left his rim cleaner in the bay so I walked it over to him and his buddy in a riced up golf. I commented him on how clean looking the boxer was, and how nice it sounded etc. He mentiond "Nice NOBALT, you should have at least got the Supercharged one, my buddy has a stage II one and I beat him. I said, " wow, you really know these cars, I just came over to bring you your tire cleaner"

I mentioned that in the cobalt community that stage II is kind of the low tide mark for mods. I said nothing about my car being an LNF (lo rise) or tuned etc. I even had my summers on, and badging.

Kid in the riced golf "You RACE that thing?" and smirks.

Me "You'd kill me champ, save your gas for the LS1's...that thing looks beastly" and his WRX buddy laughed.

Yes I used to race bikes, I did at jennings, and the occasional Dragons tail annual invite events. I also had a 600 (Track Prepped CBR F4.) Liter bikes are in a different class than 600's, if you professionally raced you would know that. The 999+CC Bikes CRUSH the times of the 750CC and below class. Also if you ask anyone from Fla, I was a NASA-X instructor for SCCA and Autox events. And yes all the newer 600's will more than rape you, 99-04 are the primitive years of the R6, 06 was the year they stepped up their game, but failed to deliver and 08 they corrected what they wronged.


I have money that a friend of mine from tampa that drives a Tire rack sponsored yaris would MURDER you around a track, and worse on an autox course. You over confident AWD fanboi's eat more cones than your fat ass mom at a dairy queen. In AUTO the AWD guys are usually at the bottom of the list, FTD usually goes to a miata or CRX, and sometimes these track prepped mustangs on R-Comps.

 

youre even more retarded. i dont race in any events, i never said i did. i went to an open track day where anyone could go; any type of bike you tard. and all the instructors were ridinig 600 and the guys with 1000's were getting beat everywhere but the straights. yeahhh and buddy youre even dumber, my roomate that has teh audi s4 has a 2008 r6 and i beat it when it was stock, we havent raced (in a straight line) since. nice try though. you still lose. id love to see that yaris take me around a track. autocross it would prob wint since thats ALL turns. most tracks dont have bends so severe that my ungodly power advantage would take over. i like how youre now coming at me with a sponsored yaris. what? haha. sweet you had a cbr f4. 03 was the first year of fuel injeciton for the r6, thats when it got the power bump, and same in 08 but in 09 they actually got a bit slower. quit sounding retarded and putting words in my mouth. oh, and that YARIS would take you around a track too you fool.

everyone is acting like i know nothing about cobalts when i was on here for 2 years with a 2.6 pullied and fully bolted with meth tune cobalt. i know what these cars are and are not. my bad; they should be in the same class as the zr1 like some lnf commented in the other thread, or they are better for drag racing because they are fwd. ahah

 

I know what the OP is talking about. I raced a formula 1 the other day in my ss/tc on the way back from wal-mart, and he was like wtfbbqsauce that thing is fast. Prolly the fastest car in the state, unless anyone else has an ss/tc. He pulled out of sonic and was revving his pasta machine at me. We tried from dig and roll but the balt was too much for those European pseudo race cars. He flew past me after the race and was like "wtf no traction" and I was like noooob!

 

i havent said anything about racing my balt vrs your awd. just my TA i have that i race with. that is stock. i know what my balt can do and cant. so dont say i taking the cobalt side!!! i just a dirt racer.

 

We are not saying you know nothing about cobalts, we are saying you are coming into these forms like you are better than everyone else because you own an AWD Bukakke sled now. (Which is just another economy car, and you didn't even get the top of the line model.)

And Fact for Fact, every single record set at Jennings was done by a 1000+ Class bike, from a Duc 1098 - a GSXR 1K that knocked out the MV Agusta F4 at the track. 600's cannot touch 1K's on a track or a stright line. Stop pulling theorheticals out, and look at the facts. And you know the R6 you have was carried over all these years as the R6-s right? ITS THE BOTTOM OF THE LINE R6! Its slower than the newer R6's, and its treated as a baby bike by the bike community.
